This class takes place right before the Autumn equinox, mid harvest time when the fields have been almost plucked and stored for winter. A perfect moment to reflect on the changing seasons and handcraft a bowl for the Autumn fruits.
In this course spread over two Tuesday evenings in September, you will carefully craft your own timeless and stylish stoneware ceramic fruit bowl. Led by local ceramicist Yanire Syla Delgado, in the first class you will explore working with clay, using a mould to shape your bowl, then hand building it delicately. Yanire will take each piece to have its first biscuit firing in her studio and returned for glazing and decorate in the second week.
