How to perform this Hamstring Stretch!
-
1️⃣ Lay on the ground face up.
2️⃣ Keep one leg straight, Low Back flat and chin tucked.
3️⃣ Bring one knee to around hip level.
4️⃣ Grab the hamstring to hold it in place.
5️⃣ Straighten the leg
🔁 Repeat.

📍Diz eklemine fleksiyon yaptıran kaslarımız öncelikli olarak hamsting kasları olan biceps femoris, semitendinosus, semimembronosus kaslarına destek olarak kalf kaslarından biri olan gastronomius kası da femur denilen üst uyluk kemiğine yapıştığı için dize fleksiyon yapmaya katkı sağlar.
⭕Lying leg curl hareketinde de dize fleksiyon hareketini gerçekleştirdiğimiz için esas olarak hamsting kaslarını çalıştırmak isteriz. Ancak burada harekete gastroknomius kasımız da devreye girdiği için hamsting kasının yeteri olarak yüke maruz kalmamasına neden olmaktadır. ⭕Bileğin bükülü olduğu evrede aktif olarak Kasılan gastronomius kasını daha az aktif etmek için bileği düz pozisyonda tutmamız gerekir. In the previous post @deskboundtherapy and I showed you guys the first progression to improve your shoulder rotation and mobility.

Today we're going to show you the second progression, this is an amazing exercise to not only open up those tight shoulder at work, but also make some long term mobility gains and improve your shoulder extension.
.
Shoulder extension is absolutely necessary for those looking to learn calisthenics and gain the necessary mobility to execute dips and other skills properly! (Calisthenics Prehab)
.
Most adults have very limited shoulder extension range of motion. Tight muscles like the biceps and pec minor play a role in keeping the shoulders chronically flexed and depressed, making this extended position behind the body inaccessible. .
SETUP:
1️⃣As in the picture above start in a low toe squat, standing or seated in a chair.
2️⃣Lean forward at your hips while placing one or both hands in the desired position.
3️⃣LIGHTLY press the top/back of your hands into your thigh.
4️⃣Take a nice deep breath in and as you exhale your stop pressing your hands (back of the wrists)
5️⃣Slowly progress the stretch within your pain tolerance.

Really try and relax into this stretch as much as possible. This stretch gets pretty deep into the capsule of the shoulder joint too so make sure you go easy with this one and be sure not to "overdo it"

THE BEST FULL BODY EXERCISE YOU'VE BEEN MISSING🤓

We often toss around the phrase "compound movements" & "multi-joint exercises". What that means is a bunch of joints and muscles are being challenged and moved within the same exercise😉
.
This is one of my favourite ways to get that done. I'm often asked to recommend exercises or how I like to workout. This one is gold🥇

Not only do you get to hit a bunch of muscles in one exercise you also get in a solid cardio session as it is a really high intensity movement😏
.
TAG A FRIEND WHO NEEDS SOME NEW SPICE IN THEIR ROUTINE✌🏾

Two sequences we went over at the Maximize your Training Workshop!! HIP AND HAM SEQUENCE: When you get into downward dog your points of contact are your hands and feet. So make sure you push into the ground with both of them, draw your abs in as hard as possible, kick the leg forward ( dont lose your abs !). Pull your back foot up to your butt and squeeze that glute forward tight!! , lower and come up to your hamstring push. Your foot must push the ground away actively, and then you just inchworm your way toward the other side. ( repeat 7 to 8x per side). Repeat 3 times a day
SHOULDER SEQUENCE: grab a dowel overhanded and pull the stick apart. Keep doing so as you reach the stick over and behind your back until it hits your butt. From here do the same back on the way back to the front.

8 x 10 everyday

Then go into an alternating movement where one hand pulls to the hip while the other goes overhead. Bring all the way over and repeat : 8 x 10 per side

I have trained back for at least 4 years.. It has always been one of my favourite areas to train. However, I have struggled to see any kind of definition in my back. I have stayed consistent and pushed even further to reach this point! I concentrate on muscle to mind coordination and tend to lift very light and SQUEEZE and HOLD!! 🔻به هيچ عنوان قوز نكنيد،گردن خود را خم نكنيد و ستون مهره هارا در يك راستا قرار داريد 🔻تنفس:در هنگام بالا آمدن بازدم و در هنگام پايين رفتن دم را اجرا 🔻اين حركت را ميتونيد با پاي ثابت هم انجام دهيد .يعني فقط تنه حركت كند.

At 72 years old, the Stanimal hitting some accessory work with the single leg #hamstring sliders. This is a HUGELY aggressive exercise for the hamstrings. Start with 2 legs if you've never done it.
You can use frisbees. Dig your heels in and focus on controlling the eccentric portion of the exercise.

Please......benen, laten jullie me niet in de steek. Momenteel heb ik zure, zere knieën, hamstrings en liezen. In de afgelopen (#train weken) ben ik er achter gekomen dat ik extra steun nodig heb. Net wat extra ogen die meer zien dan dat mij eigen gevoel zegt. Roepen naar hulp is geen schande, dus dat doe ik nu. Hopelijk niet te laat.
