📝Here are a few movements I like to use in knee rehab for athletes.
🙋🏽♂️One thing about knee rehab is that it’s not usually dictated by the pathology. What this means is whether you are recovering from meniscus surgery, knee pain, or an ACL, the exercises are more a reflection of your individual limitations, sport demands, and goals or activities you like to do.
⛰In addition to the obvious knee joint muscles, the knee needs a tremendous amount of stability from the foot/ankle and hip. If you can challenge both complexes above and below the knee to carry their load, you will have a successful knee rehab.
