2014-2017 ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ My focus this is week is positivity, moving forward, and embracing chance. Sometimes progress doesn't come fast enough, but just keep consistent and believe in yourself. We cannot become what we want by remaining who we are.I love who I am but I'm infatuated with the person I have potential to be. ⬇️How to perform BARBELL SHRUGS for HUGE TRAPS💪 Tag your gym partner! ✅💪 1. Stand up straight with your feet at shoulder width as you hold a barbell with both hands in front of you using a pronated grip (palms facing the thighs). Tip: Your hands should be a little wider than shoulder width apart. You can use wrist wraps for this exercise for a better grip. This will be your starting position.

2. Raise your shoulders up as far as you can go as you breathe out and hold the contraction for a second. Tip: Refrain from trying to lift the barbell by using your biceps.
Slowly return to the starting position as you breathe in.

3. Repeat for the recommended amount of repetitions.

Variations: You can also rotate your shoulders as you go up, going in a semicircular motion from front to rear. However this version is not good for people with shoulder problems. In addition, this exercise can be performed with the barbell behind the back, with dumbbells by the side, a smith machine or with a shrug machine.

Recently I've been feeling like my workouts haven't been as good as they could be, I know I can push myself more. I spent some time in the morning looking back at competition pics and videos and I got so pumped to get back up on stage and kill my workouts. I'm my own motivation. Prep will be here before I know it and I gotta use this offseason to grow as much as I can. I had an amazing workout this morning. You don't need preworkout or coffee to accomplish your goals - just look within yourself and remember your "why" 💪
Today's gute ham workout: RDLs, hip thrusts, sumo deadlifts, GHR, lunges and finisher circuit of adductor ss abductor ss glute bridge 🍑
