Ok, ladies and gentlemen! We know we could all use a natural hair spray! And this is it! So simple to put together, and the hold is remarkable!
1 cup purified or distilled water
1 tablespoon organic fair trade sugar or coconut sugar
25 drops *essential oil
*Essential Oils I Love
I always use some rosemary since it's very good for hair, but I also love to add some lavender, grapefruit and bergamot. This is my favorite blend. You can use any combination you like!
Bring water to a simmer and remove from heat. Add sugar and whisk until completely dissolved. Allow mixture to cool before adding essential oils.
Store in a glass spray bottle with a fine mister.
Shake before each use to distribute oils as they will separate.
Many essential oils can interact with tanning booth light bulbs and UV light from the sun so they should be used with caution. If you plan on spending all day in the sun, then you shouldn't use the oils below. If you're just going to work or something and will not be outside, then you should be fine.
