NY AFTENVANE: Puslespil!😜 De fleste aftener ender jeg i SoMe-fælden. Jeg har behov for afslapning/afstressning, og vanen med at hive telefonen op af lommen er så indgroet, at det sker helt uden bevidst tanke. Denne automaticitet er en del af definitionen på en vane. Problemet for mig, som selvstændig sundhedsdebattør, er, at Facebook især (men også IG til tider) ikke er afstressende. Tværtimod: de kaster spændende nyheder, nye videnskabelige undersøgelser og interessante, relevante blogposts i hovedet på mig - eller jeg får tilsendt links til kendisser der spreder pseudovidenskab eller medier der skriver skræmmeretorik om maden. Jeg kan ikke læse sådanne ting, uden straks at tænke over, hvad jeg selv har lyst til at skrive derom. Det sætter min hjerne på overarbejde på et tidspunkt hvor den helst skal geare ned... Men hvordan løser man dette!? Udfordringen er, at jeg gerne IKKE vil kigge på sociale medier om aftenen. Men ikke-mål duer ikke! Så vi måtte finde på noget, som jeg/vi skulle lave I STEDET - meget gerne noget, som krævede lige så lidt at "falde over" og gå i gang med, som mindless checking af sociale medier. Og det er i situationer som denne (og dengang vi fra den ene dag til den anden, aldrig mere havde vores smartphones med i seng) at @groenmor er så imponerende hurtig til at gå fra spæd tanke til handling. Hun havde selv nævnt, at hun godt gad at lægge puslespil til sommer, og efter jeg havde ytret mine aftenkvaler for hende, kom jeg dagen efter hjem til Taj Mahal i tusind brikker 😍 Siden har jeg købt fem puslespil mere, og vi har netop afsluttet Titanic og skal i gang med Nyhavn. 👉Breakfast is highly variable depending on what your personal preference, and goals are.
.
I like quick digesting foods during the first half of my day. Some people need a filling breakfast that will last them hours, and power them up for the day. Here are some quick ideas, that will help you get things going in the mornings, when you don’t want to use that mental energy on selecting a food.
.
✅Eggs, and a piece of fruit. On the go breakfast idea; soft/hard boil the eggs ahead of time.
.
✅Oat bran, or overnight oats. I always add a 2️⃣ scoops of protein to this. You could have a protein source on the side as well.
.
✅A couple Siggi’s yogurts, with fruit, honey, and top it with whatever you want. I like powdered PB, but coconut chips, or chocolate chips would be great choices too.
.
✅Breakfast tacos. I use Food for life brand corn tortillas and scrambled egg whites/or whole eggs with veggies. Always lots of salsa.
.
✅Leftovers from dinner the night before.
.
✅Protein shake: 30 grams of protein (protein powders are a personal choice and are convenient), piece of fruit, and around 10 macadamia nuts is a perfect quick breakfast option.
.
✅Egg white scramble with guacamole, and salsa. I like to add beans to this! .
.
✅Leftover basmati rice with milk (cashew, or cows milk) poured over, with two scoops of whey or pea protein. You can top this with blueberries, and coconut chips. Use your choice of sweetener.
.
✅Fruit with a couple Tanka or Epic bars.
.
✅Or eat the donut without judgment, and realize and ACCEPT you're going to be hungry AF the rest of the day. Change is small, progressive, and time consuming.

Nothing good happens overnight - except maybe the lottery.

One of our new clients, Lauren, has been a great example of how to change your life is small steps.

She started by getting some help from our trainer and dietician and allowing herself the freedom to take things slow and make sure her habits stick.

She's starting by adding more vegetables and protein to her meals to help her feel full, but we haven't cut out carbs because they're still an important part of well rounded nutrition.

We're just getting started, but she's already seeing great progress. She's more energetic, happier, and in less pain after only one month with us.

Banana oatmeal muffins prepped for snacks for the kids.
2 ripe bananas
1tsp vanilla
1 egg
1/2 almond milk
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tsp baling powder
Cinnamon ( didn't measure )
Pinch if salt
1 cup Greek yogurt ( I didn't have that so used light sour cream)
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes

The Three BIG FAT Lies Of Healthy Living.
You know those days when you wake up before your alarm and you bounce out of bed full of energy just busting get the day moving.
You smash out your workout before the sun has even come up, cook you protein packed egg omelette (with only organic ingredients) and eat it watching the sun come up sipping on your green tea imported from China…………
Ummmmm, yea we know those days rarely, if ever happen just like that.
Would you believe me if I told you that some days we are not even inspired or motivated to work out?
Enter the Three BIG FAT Lies Of Healthy Living.
Lie #1: You have to be “Inspired” to do good habits.
Lie #2: You should always be motivated to do them.
Lie #3: “Experts” are always motivated to do them.
The last one probably the biggest one of all. There is no such thing as permanent motivation.
You will not always be “Inspired” or “Motivated”.
In fact, sometimes your motivation will be totally MIA.
But, thats ok, because you don’t always need Inspiration or Motivation to have good habits.
You would think that before you ACT on something you need Motivation to get that thing done…..sometimes this is true, most of the time this is not. Most of the time you have to just “hunker down” and find a way to get the job done regardless of how you feel.
Motivation and inspiration are a bit like cats: No, they don’t claw your eyes out when you least expect it. They tend to disappear when you want them around.
You can’t depend on cats. And you cannot depend on Motivation or inspiration.

These programs are designed to have you doing so much that yes you may lose weight….but you will also very quickly run yourself into the ground….they are not sustainable.
At Move Eat Live that is not how we work. The reason for this is because that is not how YOU work ( even though you think that is how you work)
We know from our own experience that to make drastic and lasting change, you need to simplify.
Master ONE basic habit at a time.
From my own personal experience I can say I was a little skeptical about this method, I was sure it would not work.
