We've definitely had better days and prettier pictures, and cleaner hair. Right now, though, it's all I can do to even get myself out to see her. It makes me so sad, but even the short drive to her makes me hurt so much I feel like I need a hoist to get out of the car.
Some might consider this an "honest" pic of Chroi for conformation purposes, although she's standing slightly downhill in this pic. Her neck looks weak. I like her round croup and her hip, they look good to me. I like her small ears. She has an unacceptable amount of feather, but I hold out hope that I can coax some more out of her. Her mane is thin and short. Her back looks weak, some of which I attribute to having had foals, some to being unconditioned, and some to conformation. Her shoulder angle looks too steep. This pic does not do her back legs justice- she has a nice "set" to her but her back legs here look too straight. She does have a slightly more "feminine" face than this pic shows, but could stand some refinement.
What else? ☺️ I'd genuinely appreciate input from others!
I love her still. I want to have full and informed measure of her conformation, but even still she'll always be a beautiful unicorn to me.
