OMG GUYS 😮. Had to share this because the body is so so crazy and does some crazy things.
If you watched my insta story yesterday you knew I wasn't feeling the best, started my cycle and was bloating because of it.
I took the left pic yesterday morning and the right pic this morning. 24 hours apart. THATS IT! Do you see how insane it is for us to be judging our progress off of social media! I mean, hello, I look like I could be carrying a child on the left because of how bloated I am. Today I woke up feeling so much better and just like that, my bloating had decreased significantly.
Please please please DON'T be so hard on yourself when you feel like your body isn't responding well to workouts/ eating right. I bloat for a # of reasons (when on my cycle, when I eat certain foods, have too much sugar etc.) but it's so IMPORTANT to remember that it's only TEMPORARY.
I fall culprit to it also bc yesterday I was so upset that my progress had "vanished". Lol but silly me, I had to remind myself that this is life and our bodies are sensitive to certain things and will react in different ways!
Ok, dats it. I just wanted to share with you how important it is to be kind to our bodies despite the circumstances. Lysm 💜. I hope you all have amazing weekends and please remember to love yourself, love yourself HARD ❤️. 🔹Not enough people talk about the Zottman curl, but it’s killer and one of my absolute favorites. I’ve recently incorporated them into my biceps workouts and have already noticed strength increases!The Zottman curl was created by George Zottman in the late 1800’s and targets ALL of the muscles that flex your elbow joint. On the way up, you’re working the biceps and brachialis. On the way down, your brachioradialis muscles are engaged🔹

🔹Begin in your standard bicep curl position (back straight, knees slightly bent, dumbbells straight down in front of you and palms up). Curl the weight, contract your muscles and remember to breathe! When you’ve reached the top of your bicep curl, slowly rotate your wrists so that your palms face down. In a slow, controlled manner, reverse curl down to your starting position before rotating your wrists again🔹

I've been warming up with bands for a while but they're actually really good for lateral raises 👌 we got this band which is more like a bungee cord a few years ago and I've started throwing some raises in with it instead of waiting for cables and I love it! 🤓 perfect for high rep burnout sets and the constant tension leaves your little delts screaming!

Muchas personas dejan de entrenar estos músculos debido a que son extremadamente difíciles de fortalecerlos y hacerlos crecer, de hecho esto llega hasta tal punto, que a veces parece que nunca crecen.

no las entrenamos no se fortalecerán (ganar fuerza) y seremos más propensos asufrir lesiones de tobillo, Algo muy similar pasa con los femorales y glúteos y es que son músculos que implicamos a la hora de realizar actividades tales como correr y andar.

podemos entrenarlas hasta 3 veces semanales sin que esto repercuta negativamente en su recuperación, debemos trabajarlas con un volumen de entrenamiento de entre 6 y 10 series por sesión de entrenamiento y cada serie debe tener un rango de repeticiones de entre 12 y 25.

It's been a struggle not being able to go 100% in the gym due to injury but right now I need to take care of the injury and not make it worse. It's better to let it recover then try and push through the pain and be out of the gym for twice as long. You only get one back so make sure you take care of it because it isn't just going to just stop you from the gym if you injury it but it's going to limit you from work, sports and pretty much everything else. So listen to your body and take the rest if you need it 💪

Monday is here and it's time to get out of holiday mode and back into goal smashing mode 💪💪if you have had a bit of time off, perhaps a holiday or even a heavy binge weekend, make preparations prior to your day to ensure you have a productive day. I know for me when I got back from holiday my 'to do' list seemed to grow and things felt a bit dysfunctional routine wise. Preparation is key! Last night I planned out my day and refocused my goals using my daily Planner.
Today I looked at some of my photoshoot pictures as a bit of inspiration to go smash my own personal goals and get motivated!
