Current condition 5 months post show, where has the time gone 🙈 ?
I've had weeks where I slip-up on diet a bit, rush through training, stress out and loose sleep but on a whole I think I've managed to make some process. Trying to keep my workouts intense, not just going through the motions there's a big difference between a mediocre attitude and a passionate one.

HAMSTRING CURL common mistakes!
1 - Hips/bum. So many people stack the weight up too high and then curl the weight up by lifting their hips, using other muscle groups to lift the weight, instead of isolating the hamstrings which is the purpose of this exercise. (Top tip - elevate your chest, to help push your hips down)

2 - No full extension. Try to fully extend your leg, so you can fully stretch your hamstrings, which will create a much better muscle contraction! This is just like a bicep curl but a different limb.
3 - Speed. Not just for safety and prevention of injury but also results. Much of our strength and muscle size comes from the eccentric portion of the rep (lowering phase) so instead of just dropping the weight, control it down. You can work on the explosiveness on the way up.

First pro qualifier in the books! This is the best me to date and never been this excited to push it to the next level. There is always room for improvement. I think my symmetry and aesthetics are dead on point. With that’s said, I could use some more size on my low chest and outer pec. Also, some more detail and size on my lower back and lats. The judging was very fair and they were looking for th bigger guys from what I could see). Although, this has been the very first time anyone has ever beaten me in men’s physique until now. I think this was the most important “win” for me. I’m so hungry to get better. I know there is a lot of potential for me in this sport and I am never scared to keep working endlessly until I have what I want. 2017 has been a ridiculously successful year for me I can’t wait for what’s to come. I love every single one of you that reached out and wish me well. It’s nice to know all of you guys have my back 💪🏼💪🏼. .

IT Band and Glute Stretch

Instructions
1. Lay on a mat, on your back, with your legs extended on the floor. Loop a band over the arch in your right shoe and bring that leg over your body towards the opposite side (whilst keeping it straight). This will be your starting position.
2. Gradually, pull harder and harder on that band until you achieve the desired amount of tension so you can feel a stretch through you glute and outer thigh.
3. Hold for the recommended duration and swap sides.

I was in such a routine that is was beginning to become a problem with my stress levels. I was forcing myself to do cardio on the treadmill indoors when the weather outside was unreal just because I knew I was doing the exact same amount each week. Well this week started my reverse and also started the change of that, if the weather outside is nice then I'm going to go out and enjoy the fresh air while I do my cardio. It's been one week and I already feel like the stress is down a little which is a good start. Who else has been in this situation or is still in this situation? Let me know in the comments ☺️👍

Well, you need 3 things. Protein, carbs and fat. This is my first meal today, so with the chicken I get a lot of fat that I will use as energy, and protein. Eat the majority of your daily fats in the morning. The apple is just loaded with healthy benefits, and about 30g of slow carbs. This will make me go hard all true my workout.
