Para perder grasa se debe producir un déficit calórico, es decir, que el gasto energético supere la ingesta. Un déficit calórico de 20-25% es suficiente para tener un buen progreso📉. Se habla de porcentajes porque dependerá del requerimiento de cada persona, aunque un déficit de 500 kcal/día es lo más utilizado por lo general👀. Un pérdida de peso de 0.5 kg/semana es un buen ritmo👍🏼. Una pérdida de peso más rápida no significa más pérdida de grasa😒. Mayores déficits calóricos producen una pérdida de peso más rápida, pero el % de pérdida de peso procedente de masa magra tiende a aumentar (mayor riesgo de perder masa muscular)🤦🏼‍♂️.
