Who doesn’t get excited for soup in the winter? 😜 Get all the benefits of good soup and skip any chances of processed ingredients when you make your home version! ❤️ I love my pressure cooker instant pot that makes it SUPER easy to make the below recipe & then I get to use all the leftover bones to make bone broth 🙌 Details below:
Ingredients:
1 Whole Pasture raised chicken (make sure to check the chicken for a bag inside)
4 ribs celery, sliced
1-2 cups carrots, sliced into rings (I used baby carrots so I could skip the peeling)
1-2 cups chopped mushrooms
1/2 medium yellow onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, smashed and peeled
fresh sage
fresh thyme
fresh rosemary
4 teaspoons salt
2 quarts water/8 cups water

Step 1 - Put the chicken breast side up in the pressure cooker
Step 2 - Add the seasoning on top of chicken
Step 3 - Place the veggies on the chicken
Step 4 - Add In 8 cups of water
Step 5 - Place the lid on pressure cooker, seal completely & set soup timer to 25 min high pressure
Step 6 - Once timer goes off, wait 15 minutes then release the pressure.
Step 7 - Remove the chicken, take the meat off the bones & add back to the soup
Step 8 - Store your soup in bowls for the week! *Stove top, bring all ingredients to boil and then simmer for 1 hour 15 minutes (until chicken is tender) *Bone broth recipe in comments

Did you know that #water is the main component of the body? In fact, the adult body is about 60-70% water! Our bodies use water in all of its cells, organs and tissues to help regulate body temperature, to transport oxygen, and glucose to our working muscles, it helps our bodies eliminate waste and toxins, as well as aiding in a slew of other bodily functions that are vital for optimal living. Plain and simply: we need water to survive. Since we lose water through breathing, sweating and digestion, it's extremely important to consume enough water to hydrate and replenish in order to ensure proper body function!

Drinking enough water is a MUST (if you’re wondering how much water should you be drinking everyday, a good rule of thumb that I follow is this: at least half of your body weight in ounces) BUT- in addition to drinking water, you can also incorporate #plantbased foods high in water too! Fruits and vegetables provide vitamins, minerals, fiber and protein along with fluids!! Here are 6 of my favorite #vegan foods that can help keep you hydrated! 🌱💗

Please note that eating these foods does NOT replace drinking water. Incorporating these foods is a way to mindfully ADD to drinking water!

Hey all!! My day today has consisted of a 4 Mile steady run this morning, it felt good to get out.. and then it was leg day today so I’ve done a good few leg exercises with weights.. .

My lunch is a salad, in it I have shredded pork, lettuce leaves, mango, avocado, peppers and cucumber.. .

How you doing?!! And also for all runners how you finding it this time of year?! I love running when it’s cooler I just don’t like it being so dark. My issue is that I don’t want to get out so kicking my butt to move is my issue.. 🤣🤣 still I found once I went it was super lovely to enjoy the fresh air and hey it was nice and quiet too.. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️
