God I miss Cali

It’s amazing how many different phases you go through in life. My goal is to become a world champion.
I was adamant I would break all the records in NZ this year, move on to international events and then worlds the year after. The problem was, I was looking at it from that start and working forward trying to tick all the boxes in quick succession. Not realising I was going about it all wrong. It’s not until now, 9 months in, I realised what my coach has been trying to tell me all along... I need to start at the end goal and work my way back! 🤔
I was so focused on the little goals I didn’t see how I was letting the big goal slip. So we’ve made some changes and I won’t be going to Nationals this year. In fact, we aren’t even focusing on the competitions, but instead on getting my numbers to a world championship level... then we will smash some competitions 💪

2 consecutive leg days= Major jelly feelz 😵 Maybe should have switched it with another session, but I’m strangely enjoying this soreness 😅 Now just sittin at home, eatin and restin, because that is when the most gainz are made 💪🏼

Stoked as it is my first time squat snatching with no knee pain in a few months 😍 Pull phase is feeling strong from all the pulling programming I have been doing (tempo deadlifts, slow snatch pulls, lat pull downs, tempo ring rows etc)🔥

Trying to figure out how I can improve my shaky, unstable lockout and two hyperextending elbows 🤦🏼‍♀️ The bottom/ catch position is a huge weakness for me! No matter how much strengthening work I do, these noodle arms still just don’t want to hold up 🙅🏼

Regardless, I was happy to hit juuuuuuust under BW today 🏋🏼‍♀️ As I said, there are MAJOR improvements to be made, but for now we just gotta make do with what we got and keep up those gainz 🍑
