Madhu Bahadur Artwani- The generous helping soul
When you become a support to someone, God automatically becomes your supporter. This is what Madhu Bahadur Artwani has experienced in her life. She is a Social worker and is always on her toes. She was very prone to diseases earlier and had lots of health issues like weak eyesight, migraine and also she was overweight.Hailing from Shahdol she was always interested in doing social work. She started off with Seva in #gurudwara.
To improve her health she started to do yoga through television. She did it religiously for 3 years and her health improved a lot. Since she got such a good result from yoga she decided to promote it and teach 100 people free of cost. She started off with taking a 10 days class of 2 people namely Dr.#Aradhana_Sharma and #Bharti_Makhija. She was appreciated for that and through word of mouth she started taking 2 batches. She had only thought to teach 100 students as a gesture of gratitude but till now has taught about 10,000 people with maximum of them being taught free of cost or just minimal charges. When Baba Ramdev came to Raipur, he invited her to become a yoga teacher, she then moved to Haridwar for 10 days and is a certified yoga teacher now. She now has her 14 classes running.
She is also invited in camps for training. This was her journey in yoga, apart from this she is into all kinds of social work. She is the founder of Madhu Dhara Mahila Sangathan which she started with 20 other ladies 10 years back. They collect money in a money bank and invest it in all kinds of social work, mainly helping poor girls with stuff for their marriage. Starting with a group of 20, they are now a group of nearly 200 people. Till now they have helped 206 girls. They also organise#Bhandara 3 days every week in different locations namely #mandir, #masjid and #gurudwara for the needy.
Apart from these she under her organization keeps visiting old age homes and orphanages and provide them with necessary stuff. On big occasions like Holi, Diwali, New Year, they have a big meet up cum charity event. Her list of social work goes on and on and is becoming bigger everyd
