"Among all the living entities wandering throughout the universe, one who is very fortunate receives, by the mercy of the spiritual master and the mercy of Krishna, the seed of devotional service." --CC Madhya 19.151 Quoted in Teachings of Queen Kunti p.8
I was slowly realizing and understanding the greatness of our previous acaryas, once again today. They lived off remembrance of their spiritual master alone. Sometimes, they only saw their spiritual master a few times in their lifetime. They sustained themselves with messages of their beloved Gurudeva carried by others, and messages of his messages. 🌱🌱🌱🌱
I must listen to a lecture or watch a video of GuruMaharaj everyday, even if it's only a few seconds long. Otherwise my brain starts to go crazy. I am a natural worrier and I tend to worry about everything. But the message of Gurudeva always seems to calm my heart. It always seems as though he is talking directly to me. Caitya Guru is so real. Paramatma is so real. I know because how else could this magic exist?! 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱
Once again I realize how spoiled I am in this age. I can tune in to technology, and Gurudeva and his message are at my fingertips! Whenever I have a crisis of faith, his words, his shelter are so readily available. They are my life line in this vast ocean of material desires and turbulence. His smile, his stories, his words, the way he says them, the cadence of his voice, the love that shines through his eyes, his absolute faith in Krishna: these are all available. Every moment. Of Every day. I have to take advantage of such gifts. Such miracles. This is our great fortune. This is our inheritance. This is the wealth that we should amass more and more of in life.
