It's fitness Friday 💪🏽🏋🏻♀️Heck yeah I'm into fitness! Fitness whole chocolatey magical nut ball in my mouth! This magnificent recipe comes from my girl Moani. The first time I had one of Moani's balls in my mouth, I felt like I had been transported to a magical fairy land where all my cares & worries vanished down rivers of chocolate Pegasus dreams. Yes...it was that good. Simple & delicious. I took these balls a step further and used the leftover pulp from the almond milk I had just made. #noalmondsleftbehind
Moani's Magic Balls 🍫🔮 1 1/2 cups gluten free oats- blended into a powder
1/2 cup almond flour, meal, or leftover pulp from almond milk
2 Tbls. coconut oil
2 Tbls. You Favorite Nut butter: almond, peanut or sunflower
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
3 Tbls. Mini chocolate chips
1. Blend the oats into a fairly fine flour. Pour the blended oats into a medium sized bowl & add the half cup of almond flour; set aside.
2. In a bowl mix together the coconut oil, nut butter, maple syrup, vanilla and salt. Mix until fully combined.
3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry. Make sure to scrape every last bit of that goodness out! Then add the mini chocolate chips. Mix ingredients until they are thoroughly combined.
4. Prepare a plate with parchment paper. Roll dough into balls; like ping-pong size or a little smaller. This recipe should make about 13 balls. Place balls in the freezer for 15 minutes to firm. If you don't eat them all at once, they can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. #revegucate #homemade #magicball #recipe #healthy #nutricious #sweet #snack #vegan #vegetarian #glutenfree #paleo #dessert #fitness #organic #eatclean #sandiego #ca #encinitas #hwy101 #instituteforintegrativenutrition #exercise #gurllookatthatbody #iworkout
