When people hear that Tyson works from home, they often tell me how wonderful that is. I agree, but they often go on to describe the beautiful chance we have for connection throughout the day and envision us sitting down to share and enjoy a sweet time together over lunch.
In reality, he's usually up in his office from 8-5, just like a normal job, working and taking meetings and generally disliking interruptions. As for lunchtime? He usually comes downstairs just as I've gotten the kids settled for naps and quiet time and it takes everything in me to not shank him over the mess he made on the counter or straight up murder him because of how loud he chews his food (Seriously how do you chew SOUP so freaking loud?) when it was literally my first quiet moment of the day until he appeared. Because I'm a good Christian wife, I settle for shooting him death stares across the room.
Somehow we've survived it for this long. I guess I love him anyway, despite his deficiencies in the chewing department. 😘 #lovehim #marriagevibes #husbandandwife #guessillkeephim .
