. ~My Life Story: These Past Six Years~ . Part 5 (continued from previous post) . Anyway, I looked up producers Chris had worked with over the years and found that Rick Rubin worked with him on Audioslave. I remembered watching a video of one of Chris' performance in 2011 and him speaking to the crowd saying that he'd been to Rick Rubin's house after having not seen him for a long while – and that Rick gave him a guitar that belonged to Paul McCartney. Everything clicked. Rick Rubin was the one Chris showed my music to. . I contacted a lawyer from Lowe Law in Los Angeles named Aleksandra Hilvert and told her what had happened with my music being used by RHCP, shared clips of the music, etc. Astonishingly, she said that she knew the Red Hot Chili Peppers' lawyer and he had sort of been her mentor. She said if I could get the tweet which proves point of access to my music then we'd have a sure win case. But the tweet was gone since I had deleted my twitter and unfortunately her boss would not let her take my case on contingency (meaning pay after winning) but only if I paid up front – obviously I couldn't afford to. So I never got justice and had to bring myself to forgive without things ever being made right. .
