Around 7 weeks gone since weight lifting has started. Nearly 4kg up on body weight. Deadlift max should be tested next week, but from 1st session's 70kg x3 to 100kg x4 yesterday - is good damn progress for a kid 😁 (turning 13 in 2 days).
Parents should feed kids all the good stuff like all days - beef, butter, milk, potatoes and add some vegetable, rice.
Weightlifting (especially deadlifts) increases metabolism at high rate. Which is up to you how you use it - to get leaner or get bigger and stronger. For growing up kids the answer is obvious.
Does is affect your growth? Fucking NOT! (Unless is some prooer real new research had beem done recently). Main thing - Do Not Forget To Stretch. Eat enough. And hit the bed early enough.
Also, when there will be jacked and strong vegetarians or vegans coming - please, let me know 😉😁 By the way, i've been there - felt good at the start, then felt like crap, the kind of OK. You might be strong-ish, but doesn't seem to me that there is possible to get really strong and build good bit of a muscle 💪😁
