I was tagged by @pegactive as a part of the #ilovemybodybecause campaign, and couldn't be more excited. This is something near and dear to my heart because I have struggled with body image and negative self talk for years. I have never been able to look at myself objectively or feel "pretty" in my own skin. Honestly, I don't know if I'll ever get to a place where I love what I see in the mirror. BUT I have learned to appreciate, and dare I say love, what my body CAN DO! Despite all of my knee injuries and setbacks, I can do so much! Me legs can get me through [almost] unlimited cycle classes and both can do a full pistol squat. My arms are so much stronger than they once were and help me hit a tennis ball harder than ever. And my core, I can hold a plank for like, ever. None of these things make me perfect, or better than anyone else. But they do make me proud of who I have become. I am always growing and I hope to never stop!! Don't be afraid to pay yourself a compliment today 😘
