When we got to the groomers, Jaja didn't want to go in. I thought it was because she was scared of the groomers. But then I realized it was because of the myriad of doggie scents she detected inside. She was apprehensive to go in. I carried her, instead.
Jaja was the 4th in line. And since I seldomly bring her to the groomers (every six months or more), I know she'd be scared and begin to tremble, like she always does.
I didn't want her to stay in the groomer's cage for that long and wait for her turn.
But, I had to do a bit of grocery shopping. After 30mins, I was done. I went back for Jaja, imagining how scared she might be. It was 4PM. I asked the manager for Jaja if we can both wait at the reception area, instead of Jaja waiting in a cage. The manager understood.
We waited until 6PM. She was done at 7PM. Before I left, I asked the manager if Jaja was scared, trembling when I left. Apparently, Jaja was not at all.
I guess the next grooming appointment will not be that stressful for the both us. I mean, for me. 😁
