Training your legs and footwork in conjunction with your grip strength has been a great way to improve grappling endurance. Since often it's those two things which give out first (legs/cardio & grips), you can train legs and use all exercises where you are holding the weight in your hands (instead of resting the bar on your shoulders).
If you feel like it's not heavy enough for you to train this way, train using one leg at a time!
After pairing several "hand-held" leg exercises in a row, follow with some farmer carries to finish off your grip training, this is a great way to train your mind as well. Keep your head up and keep moving!

First visit to a #ninjagym, and it was a humbling experience! My regular training includes a lot of #strength and #endurance work but I realized that I need to incorporate a lot more #explosivemovements and coordination! .

I learned a lot in my first intro to #ninjawarrior training class though at @apexnorcal and was psyched to conquer the #quintuplesteps and the smaller #warpedwall!.

Had the chance to also try lots of cool new #grips and #obstacles but the more I tried, the more I realized just how much I still have to work on! It's motivating for me though to see what others show is possible, which is why I spend the time and effort to post so much myself. I'm definitely more comfortable being behind the camera than in front of it, but hopefully my photos and videos help motivate and inspire others as well. #payingitforward.

Saw this Gymnastic exercise for shoulder blade control/strengthening and I really liked the concept of it! 💪🏽
The originally workout was a Pull-Up, but my grip and Shoulder blade control were too poverty to do it properly😅. ▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️When weak muscles can’t do work or get too fatigued, other muscles compensate for the movement 🤭 and the original Purpose of the workout can be altered. ▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️ Nonetheless, I modified it by doing it in a Lat Pulldown machine to reduce weight and the unstable factor of a pull-up. Sometimes you just gotta break it down first! May add this to my warmups/Prehab work! One day I’ll get up there 😤

The filed down and rated Captain of Crush #3 from @cannonpowerworks is the newest addition to my grip training arsenal! Filed down on one handle to force closing it even further to a deficit. Training on one of these will make any regular gripper feel like a piece of cake.

Weighted planks have become a movement we do quite often here.

The ability to brace under load is extremely important and I feel this has much more carry over than seeing how long you can last bodyweight.

Next time you try planks, give it a go 3x30s with weight.

Working out with a sledge hammer intelligently will make you stronger and improve your cardiovascular health.
