About two months ago I got a minor tear in my right MCL two days after hitting my fastest three mile time. It was devastating going from a 20 to a 25 minute run in only two days. It sucked starting from ground zero but six later here I am hitting a 5 mile run @ a 7:14 pace where even before my injury I was barely hitting a 7:40 pace. Your biggest step back will launch further than you ever thought as long as you stick to your regimen, stay loyal to the grind, and keep your faith in the man upstairs.
