Day 233/365: Totality, totality, totality! I truly cannot describe how surreal of an experience this solar eclipse was. It was probably the coolest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. I was lucky enough to find clear skies in Williamston, South Carolina, under a mile north of the centerline. Our group saw a beautiful 2m37s of totality. Thanks so much to Hap Griffin and other astronomer friends to hosting us at a private field so close to the centerline. I'll be sharing more content soon--this is a single frame; I'm still working on merging some of my HDR images.
