I almost forgot to share this awesome May Day gift from my coworker! • She, her daughter & grandkids always make us May Day baskets each year. • Usually it involves a lot of cutesy dollar store buys (see: plastic crap ...no offense to my dear coworker, but I was actually trying to think up a tactful way to ask her not to make me anything like that this year). • Instead, they chose a twist on the traditional basket by taking her daughter’s overgrown aloe plant and dividing it up into separate pots for each of us! • I was stoked because 1) I’ve been wanting an aloe plant (👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻) and 2) no plastic junk ending up in the trash! (The pot is plastic, but considering the alternative, I’m a-ok with it!👌🏻)
Do you celebrate May Day? What kinds of “baskets” do you make or enjoy receiving?
