Today I was asked to be a part of a new campaign for my beloved @soulcycle and spent the day in a very cool photo and film shoot. Since I am now a real moddle, I got to go into hair and makeup, but because the look we were going for was that dewy, sweaty sheen, my makeup basically involved being slathered in Vaseline practically head to toe (they did curl my eyelashes). Throw in some very intense and VERY sweaty rides and you've got the makings of a skincare disaster of epic proportions. Tonight's routine is all about averting catastrophe and giving my tired body some much deserved love. 🚴🏻♀️In the shower, I used the @maleeonline Verdure Body Scrub: invigorating, smoothing and super-nourishing, it smells like grass and spring and was perfect for getting me out of that broken-down funk. This British brand is a recent discovery and I'm in love: it's just so totally chic! No wonder it was picked up by @harveynichols! 🚴🏻♀️I knew that I had to bring in the heavy artillery to get all that grease off my face. First, I massaged it with the delicious @labellafigurabeauty Curative Cleansing Balm, which rinses off clean despite its lushness and leaves the skin perfectly cleansed and nourished. A second cleanse with @yuliskincare Halcyon helped me get that extra bit of freshness to feel super-clean, but not stripped. 🚴🏻♀️The @amlybotanicals mist is not only gorgeous, it's high silver content means that it's also calming and could help thwart breakouts - just what I need! 🚴🏻♀️I felt that I needed something that will help resurface my skin and speed cell turnover without aggravating it, which is why I layered @infiorebeauty's lush Calme oil and the silky-smooth and delicious Raffermissant Fleur Serum from the Made in Japan collection under the @alliesofskin Overnight Mask. All of these will be reviewed on the blog, but when I used this combo in the past, it left me with smooth, glowing and visibly brightened skin. And now, I'll be collapsing in bed 😴 Sweet dreams, loves!
