Been for a run, Thursday’s are good as I don’t have to fit in the school run on Thursdays, Hallelujah! My aim is to get a run in early, especially before it gets too warm.
Did a 5k this morning but I don’t seem to be able to cope with summer running and always end up stopping a few times. Time is 32 mins from the stats and 7 mins of this was walking, ok 3 mins at beginning to warm up, but you get the picture.
Is it in my head or do people struggle more running over the summer months. I just know in the winter I can run better. I’m doing the GSR come October so want to get going with the training.
Would welcome any running tips please and your thoughts on how seasons affect your running. Thanks.
