Every night since Hazy got ill more than two years ago we have dreamt about ringing the 'end of treatment' bell. Whenever this bell is rung another battle over childhood cancer is won. Yesterday Hazy got to ring it!!! We can't even compute the significance and there was barely a dry eye all day!! We then celebrated with a thanksgiving service in the GOSH chapel and on to lunch with dear friends, family and nurses.
Whilst Hazy will continue to be routinely monitored, tested and on medicine for the rest of her life, we all now BOUNCE into the next chapter of living, free from even the shadow of leukaemia. And one thing's for sure, there won't be a day for the rest of all our lives we won't thank God for the miracle that is GOSH, Anthony Nolan, all of your prayers and support, and of course...Hazy.❤️
Here is a little video we've made to close this chapter and dance into the next, prayerful daily for the HOPE to be carried in all our hearts which either calms the storm or calms us IN the storm.
