I very strongly believe that we meet everyone in life for a purpose & that purpose is to LEARN. Try recall of every single person you have met in your life by far and if you dig deeper you'd surely realise what they taught you. I remember this care taker "Parvati" who looked after me when mom dad were out to work. When I was 2 or 3, she taught me I was enough for myself. I remember a friend who taught me how to ride a cycle and some friends taught me how to run away after ringing a neighbour's bell. A cousin taught me how to climb a tree or jump of a wall. My English teacher taught me how to read difficult words by cutting down the syllables. My maths teacher taught me that I lack logical aptitude. My breakups have taught me that life goes on and we as humans are capable of loving back again. My cook taught me how to cut a tomato without squeezing it by my fingers. My sister taught me how to eat golgappa at one single go. A friend has taught me how to ride a bike, my best friend taught me how to love myself for who exactly I am, my lover taught me how to roll a joint and how it is extremely important to take responsibility of my own decisions. And there are also those few who taught me more important things like betrayal or dislike or cheating. But that's fine because it makes it easier for me to make wiser decisions to chose who I want to learn a lesson from and who all are just passing by!. .
I read these lines in a book which is stuck in my head like a life lesson: "Sooner or later, fate puts us together with all the people, one by one, who show us what we could, or shouldn't, let ourselves become."
