I found a really excellent wall today so it was a good opportunity to share one of my fave outfits recently: hacked Clyde pants + a #willowtank. Nothing too exciting but I feel v comfy & cool! 🌞 I cut out two more Willows today so expect to see a few more variations of this look 😛
Having spent the last few days off ill and feeling utterly miserable it's been a nice change this afternoon to feel energetic enough to do more than just nap and watch netflix so I've finished off the #morrisblazer that I started making just over a week ago.
The fabric is #ponteroma that I got in the sale from @fabricgodmother I'd never made this pattern before so I chose a busy print in the hope of disguising any dodgy topstitching! (also who doesn't love a jazzy blazer!) I also think the monochrome goes nicely with my mint @pinkcoatclub pin.
Planning my attack. When I'm unsure, I find using a photo editing app on my phone really helpful to visualise what the finished produce might look like. Here I am deciding whether to finish the edges with black bias tape, and also whether to alter my Tamarak pattern to a straight helime to suit the print better. Do you guys have hints on how you visualise a project before you fully commit? #sewingnerd#isewmyownclothes#tamarak#grainlinestudio#icantdecide#sewingproject#sewing
