It is so hard to know what diet / way of eating is best these days.
.
There is so much confusing information out there. .
But remember no one diet fits all.
.
For me, I know I can't take someone else's word on what will or won't work for me, I have to try it out for myself.
.
If you're sticking to somesort of food plan or diet, whatever your diet is, it's exactly that YOUR DIET. .
Whether it's keto, vegan, vegetarian, slimming world, high carb, dairy free, paleo, gluten free etc. It is what way you're deciding to eat and no doubt you're making the decision to try that way of eating because you feel it will help you.
.
So if anyone shoots down your diet, remeber it's not their body it's yours. No diet will work the same for everyone. My diet helps me but may not have the same results for you.
.
The few things I do when I am looking at my diet is do reserch, if I cut out a certain food I will check to see if I need to supplement because I may lose vitamins from that food. Or I will always be aware of how many calories I want to hit in a day so I'm not under/over eating. .
I see so many posts on instagram calling people out on their way of eating. But again no one way of eating will benefit everyone in the same way. Everyone claims to be an expert too... (I am not... 😂) Give knowledge and let people do their own reserch on diets.

I am also being a bit of a hypocrite here because I am trying to get my whole family off dairy but sure look.. you get my point, right 😂

Made a big pile of blue corn blueberry waffles for breakfast last night. I try to make batches of waffles and muffins at night - just makes breakfast easier in the morning if you are like me and trying to fit a lot of stuff in before work, church or whatever else you have that day. Just take out the amount you want to eat in the morning, bake at 350 for about 10 min. And they are crunchy all over again. I love that I can have all the carbs and still stay on track. I haven’t tracked what I eat in a whole day for a long time. Not for any particular reason, except for the fact that it’s just one “extra” thing to do on a day to day basis. That said, my favorite #plantbased college student and her friend asked me to do it to help them with a school project, and I am happy to help. ✅You can swipe to see everything I ate and the calorie/macro breakdown. ➡️As a person who eats only plant based foods, and works out HARD 6 days a week, I think it’s cool to show that I STILL get plenty of protein AND calcium....and also, by nature my diet is pretty low in fat while being completely devoid of cholesterol. Food works different in EVERY body, this is how I choose to live, it works for me. I consumed 1820 calories, 101g of protein, 277g carbs, 34g fat, and 53g fiber...along with 120 ounces of water, and a big cup of green tea.
