Plum Streusel cake with a delicious cashew cream layer. 😍 Do you like crumb/streusel cakes? I do, I always did, especially as a child. My parents are from Prague and in the Czech Republic streusel cakes are very popular. My favorite one from my mom was filled with poppy seeds but I also love the ones filled with plums, apples or other fruits. 😋 I already have a recipe for Strawberry Crumb bars on my blog (direct link in my bio @elavegan). Meine Eltern sind aus Prag und in der Tschechischen Republik sind Streuselkuchen sehr beliebt. Let’s keep this simple. When you want to build muscle you go to the gym and engage in resistance training to recruit Muscle fiber. You then breakdown said fiber via the stress of resistance training and rebuild it via the muscles adaptation response to stress. That’s part one, part two is the most vital part which is nutrition. It requires protein to build muscle, namely the amino acids that protein is comprised of. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins/tissues in essence. As such so long as you’re getting the protein / amino acids need you are able to effectively build muscle. The body does not differentiate between plant and animal protein, it simply utilizes the nutrients as it is supposed to. The fortunate part is you can get an abundance of protein with a complete amino acid profile from plant-based foods.The only difference between animal-based and plant-based protein with a bodybuilding diet is with the plant-based protein you get all of the benefits with none of the negatives such as carcinogens, cholesterol and cruelty. Plant-based nutrition is a win for everyone especially people who are fitness minded. So tell me again how people came to the conclusion that you can’t build muscle on a plant-based diet!? Healthy Digestion and Energy Boost Recipe:
Ingredients:

2 organic #plums

15 #organic #dates

1 tablespoon organic chia seeds (we recommend this)

1 teaspoon organic ginger powder (we recommend this)

Directions:

Turn the stove to high and heat up five cups of water in a medium-sized pot.

Once the water starts to boil, add the plums and dates.

Let things simmer for ten minutes, and remove from the heat.

Let it sit for an additional 10 minutes before adding the #chiaseeds and #ginger powder.

How to Use:

First thing in the morning when you get out of bed, take 1 tablespoon of the this and let it sit in your belly for 30 minutes before eating breakfast. This should help alleviate all of your digestive issues in addition to #constipation.

Because #chia seeds absorb fluid, it is important to drink 16 ounces of water immediately after you take this. Wait 60 minutes and drink another 16 ounces of water

I call this one the ‘chuck everything I have in the fridge into a bowl and call it dinner’ 😂 miraculously came out delicious, and looked half decent as well! I used @yumisdips lentil and zucchini falafels, rice noodles, carrots, spinach, coriander, tomatoes and avocado. The dressing was also a bit random- a mix of tahini, lemon, soy sauce and sriracha 🍋🌶🥑
I finished exams today, which means three months of freedom 😍 I think for my first day off tomorrow, I’ll just chill out, relax a little, and maybe go for a swim at the beach 🌞

Every Thanksgiving, I remember my friend Ted Williams who challenged me to "Challenge the morals of Tradition". He asked, "How worthy is a tradition, if it negatively impacts or hurts someone else?" Most traditions are routed in antiquated thinking,... born out of the need to have power over another, instead of equality. Slavery was a tradition.

As soon as you switch gears in your mind to seeing it from the victims point of view, it's very easy to make the choice, NOT to participate in cruelty.

Я скажу за себя - я за то, что бы человек в своём теле чувствовал себя по максимуму комфортно и уверенно 👌🏼
И если я вижу, что моя грудь не той формы, какую я хочу, то я сделаю ее той, о которой мечтаю. И ничего тут плохого нет!
Если я вижу, что между бровями у меня появляются мимические морщины, то через пару лет я вколю себе ботокс, что бы они не увеличивались.
Если я после родов буду иметь страшный висящий кусок кожи на месте живота, то я отрежу это.
Сейчас такое время, когда все можно исправить, что бы тело стали таким, какое предоставляешь себе в своих мечтах!
Главное уметь вовремя остановиться. Я против огромных губ, которые напоминают жопу обезьянки и огромных натянутых шаров на месте груди, которые того гляди вот-вот лопнут)
Но эстетическая красота в наше время - это очень важно. Сейчас как никогда смотрят на твою внешность. Встречают, как говорят, по одежке.
Можно вечно ждать, что к тебе будут относиться хорошо, глубоко копая в ваш внутренний мир... но мало кто будет этим заниматься.
Вы «за» операции ради адекватной красоты или против? Что хотели бы исправить в себе, будь такая возможность?
