Sunday 🌱 I slept in until 11 am for the first time in years. Then, I was greeted by a warm plate of food made by a kind hearted woman I call my mum. Feeling lucky to be living today. Feeling well enough to take up singing and dancing through these halls.
Completed "Strum Strumpf" on the way to Laurent Dubois at Duke University where it'll be used for his Musical Passage project (www.Musicalpassage.org). They'll be using this banjo to record the earliest transcribed music for a new world banjo type instrument. My reproduction based on an image in the same 1701 book the music was published in and is pretty faithful to what the original would've been like, though I modified it to make it easier to play. .
