Let’s get real for a sec....Been teaching the Tuesday 9:30 Primal:Fight class at @kadifit now for a month or so and i want to share my experience...how it’s challenging me to grow...how I love it and I’m completely terrified every week and how that shouldn’t stop you from stepping waaay outside your comfort zone. Why?
The first week I noticed that the crew wanted to DANCE during the cardio portion in between strength and fight intervals. Generally we offer running, jump rope or intuitive movement but I looked up and everyone was 💃 🕺 DANCING!
So I went with it and led dance! I don’t have the moves like @kadikatie or @aaron_dodge or @_missyi or @calicakes27 but I know rhythm and movement and know that the moves will come with practice and I have mad love for the power of dance...we should ALL dance more....
So every week I’m completely terrified but my goal each class is to find something new to bring to the table each week, explore the edges of my abilities and most importantly hold space for this crew to sweat and smile and FEEL GOOD. 😃💯If I don’t mess up and laugh it off, I didn’t try hard enough! I know the crew behind me has my back even if I get off beat or botch a transition or just look like an awkward dude 🤣🥊 BUT~~~
Every week I leave feeling completely rejuvenated and absolutely amazing - and SO WILL YOU! So just remember that if you’re not doing something that scares the shit out of you, you’re probably not growing.
