We've decided to leave social media. Although We're greatful for the following and beautiful content we've had shared with us; we can't say we've made friends here. Any relationships we've made have had nothing to do with social media. We've found ourselves spending too much time here, wanting to see who liked our posts and/or what the comments were.
We started posting to entice others to be daring and do what makes them happy. There are plenty of accounts for that. Our messages don't provide anything different.
I sometimes feel that this account helps towards recovery from PTSD and depression, but really, it's our adventures that do that. Sharing is nice to a point, until it becomes a need to keep up with the "Social Media Jones's". We won't delete the account for a few days, in order for this post to be read. The reason being; if anyone has wanted to, or would like to reach out to us, it can be done by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
