I seldom post something like this because I don't want to look like I'm bragging. This is just a reminder to myself. #goodvibeslangpo
These are simple gifts that I received from my former patients/ family of patients. Even though I refuse to accept their gifts they always find a way to give it to me. Hehe
Gift #1. Santa figurine and a thank you card. I asked why a santa? Haha then I looked at Santa's face and I figured maybe Santa's smiling face reminded her of my face .
Gift #2. Thank you card from unknown pt.
Gift #3. A pack of post it: Because she always see me writing in a post it. Hehe
Gift #4. Daily Bread from a Pastor pt. who always tells me that I am a good nurse. :) Gift #5. Biscuit from Germany from a retired nurse patient who always call me Angel nurse.
Gift #6. Cute Pill crusher : so that whenever I crush meds then I'll remember her.
After reflecting, I realized that I received these gifts during the times that I was feeling down, feeling burn out, or feeling not confident working as a nurse. I felt that God has been using those pt.'s as reminder that I'm doing something right. That even though most of the time that I lose my confidence with what I'm doing, He is always there guiding me and that I touch people's lives in simple ways.
