Well darling, how DARE you accept mediocrity??? You are KING!!!
1. For those God FOREKNEW he also PREdestined to be conformed to the IMAGE of His SON!
2. And those he PREdestined, he also called; those he CALLED, he also JUSTIFIED! Those he justified, he also GLORIFIED!!! 🙌 Rom8:28-30
In 2002, I gave my life to Jesus at a one night conference in Detroit. While in college, I searched for a place that would baptize me & I found this church in Jackson, MI. So, I car pooled down from Michigan State University to get baptized that Sunday. And, last night, I preached at that very church. I wasn't the same broken girl that walked through those doors years ago. Last night, I taught on being "Unqualified " & how God will use whosoever is willing. I shared how Mary was considered unqualified & how God used her to carry the most important Promise, Jesus. I am definitely "unqualified" based on the worlds standards as a 1st generation preacher & my hubby being a 1st generation pastor. I have no formal training in any schools. I grew up 20 min from this church on a dirt road. I have no degrees in theology. But, what I do have is a degree in kneeolgy. It's one where I stay laid out, on my knees before the Lord for years & He literally has taught me all things & He has used my hubby to teach me lots of things too! I've studied for hours and hours and hours & continued to attend godly churches. I've read a zillion books & more than anything, obeyed the Lord. Even with everything I've learned, I'm still unqualified & it is God alone that qualified me & opened doors. I was and am just so hungry for the Lord & His presence. I would preach sermons in my prayer time & every time I sought after a mentor - the Lord would tell me that no woman has gone where He is taking me. Now, I'm thankful for my wise godly women counsel but I understand perspective, they're not my God nor my hope. The Holy Spirit is the best teacher & He qualifies & uses whoever says YES. And, I said yes in 2002 & I'm still saying yes in 2016. Gosh, our God is so good! You really never know how the Lord is going to use you one day. Don't give up. It's all so worth it. ❤️ #GonePreachin
