Feels like home again!!! I spent lots and lots of time here hunting with goshawks and red tail Hawks! This place is sacred land with hundreds of miles of red Rock canyons, pinions, and sage brush. The petroglyphs are from the freemont and Anasazi people, some of these are 1,000 years old or more! y'all know Bob Marley's song buffalo soldiers? Well they were real guys, a regiment of African soldiers forced to fight in the civil war. Most people don't know that after the war they were stationed here in Eastern Utah to build a road through this canyon, even more interesting almost all of them were free Masons which was very odd indeed, because at that time most Free Masons were privileged White men of the upper class. Very cool day! have a look at the primary feather from a golden eagle, it is longer than my forearm! I also saw the eagle this feather belonged to and watched him bring a whole rabbit to his chick! Awesome day back in the land I love!!!!!
