When it comes to lifting it can get soooo FRUSTRATING... but that’s okay because you’re not the only one and don’t let is stress you out!

Some things that some of us struggle with is:
▪️sticking to a meal plan... trust me we all cave in for sweets and unhealthy food every once in a while, just try and stick with basics and it’s OKAY go to eat some sweets here and there. That’s where PORTION SIZES come in! That is sooo important, eating too little or too much can change how quick or how well your progress is!
▪️CONSISTENCY is 🔑!! Like for real, this is my BIGGEST struggle! I workout for a few weeks straight and get off track and it’s terrible because I get so hard on myself. When I go back to the gym I feel like I lost all the hard work I put in, and while that’s kind of true, I just tell myself I can get back to it! Motivate yourself!!! You can do it💪🏽💪🏽
▪️lastly, DONT STRESS OUT! stress can affect more than just lifting! Try and find ways to relax and put days in for rest! A great way to deal with stress is PLANNING! Plan your meals, your workouts, and times you need off days!


In the end, working out doesn’t have to be such a struggle! Take time to relax, plan, and you can do anything :)

Finding confidence in yourself isn’t something that just comes overnight, I wish it did!

I still struggle with it, it’s normal but at the same time it’s something that we can ALL overcome! A great way to overcome the idea of not seeing yourself as beautiful or good enough is STOP COMPARING YOURSELF TO OTHERS.

I’ve learned a lot over the last year or so since I’ve started lifting... when I first began, I’d go to the gym and suddenly become sad, id see all the other girls there and wish I looked like them. THIS IS SO WRONG. I’ve come to learn that we are all different, our bodies, our features and our personalities.
~
Set your OWN goals and I PROMISE that is good enough! One saying I read a few weeks ago stated how we rarely ever get to achieve our goals, because we are too nervous to start.
~
Yes going to the gym when you’re not confident in yourself and when you’re comparing yourself to others, can be hard. You become anxious and you think everyone is judging you. But you’re wrong...! Think of it in a perspective where it only gets easier from here! You’re actually doing something, you’re starting a new journey and it’ll only get better!
~
Find the confidence in yourself and I promise you, you will be happier, you will strive harder for you goals and you will work harder than ever!

Been so happy with my motivation lately and doing so much at the gym! I have stuck with increasing cardio and I love it! HIIT workouts have been killing me but it’s so worth the work! I’ve also been decreasing weight and increasing reps to focus more on toning!

Some people get to a point after they see an immense amount of progress and just stop. Trust me, I did the same for a while! I saw my body change drastically for a few months and now it just barely progresses!

This is NORMAL! You need to push yourself and work past your limits. Don’t give up and you’ll see change, just be patient!

And that coming from me is astonishing because I am the worst person when it comes to being patient. That is why I have quit a few times but I get right back up on my feet and keep pushing myself!
YOU CAN DO THE SAME!

Today was an AMAZING workout, it’s been a while since I’ve had an intense workout😅

I’ve been thinking a lot about my goals as I keep seeing my body change, I want to stick with lower weights and higher reps to keep toning my body.
I want to also focus on my abs and obliques, these are two I have NEVER put time into. I’ve always been a runner/sprinter and yes that can work your core but I want to tighten it up like never before and I’m so excited!
•I’m a little nervous because I absolutely HATE ab workouts but I’m going to try my best to motivate myself and keep pushing myself to the body I want!
