It's written in Isaiah 54:17 that God promise us, His servant, to have a faith in Him as He is a Judge above all judges and He is fair and wise beyond our understanding. Trust Him and do good, believe that God wants justice for all of us. He is the hero in our lives who makes wrong things right, through His word He promised that He gives us double for our trouble:
Isaiah 61:7-8 says, instead of your [former] shame you shall have twofold recompense; instead of dishonor and reproach [your people] shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double [what they had forfeited]; everlasting joy shall be theirs. For I the Lord love justice...and I will faithfully give them their recompense in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant or league with them.
When we are wronged, God asks us to forgive quickly and completely. We need to allow Him to be our vindicator. When we do, we can be assured that God will bring justice in our life.
My deepest condolences for all victims and family of Samarinda Church bombing. I know no amount of good words can close the gaping hole in everyone's heart right now. However, bring your wounds before God in prayer and ask Him to fill you up with an overflowing of His love so you can forgive those who have mistreated you.
Our Lord is a better justice maker than we are, He is our vindicator as in 1 Samuel 24: 25 says, May the Lord Judge between you and me, for my hand will not strike you, my mouth will not curse you and my thoughts will not think evil of you.
Hating is easy, but loving takes courage.
Throwing stones to our enemy is easy, but praying and blessing them is heroic. Let Jesus's love spread throughout our life and may us be the light in this dark world.
