🇮🇱 What’s better Israeli comfort food than Hummus? If you think Israel...you think Hummus. There are so many varieties too! It’s the perfect base for anything! Chicken...fish...veggies....even vegans love it! Vegans and carnivores bond over hummus. So hummus is a non-negotiable, even if it’s typically made with chick peas that can be so dense in calories and carbs. Well....not my hummus! My 🔥 Jerusalem Mixed Grill Cauliflower Hummus 🔥 is sooo amazing!! Cheers to not having to sacrifice your favorite foods to live the life you want 🍻 (*This makes 2 servings) 🔥 You’ll need:
For the Jerusalem Mixed Grill:
👉🏼1/2 lb extra lean ground beef
👉🏼1 massive yellow onion, diced
👉🏼1 cloves garlic, crushed
👉🏼A generous dusting of: Paprika, Turmeric, Cinnamon, Coriander, Chili Powder, Curry, Black Pepper and Salt (to taste)
👉🏼1/3 cup water
Sautee the onions, then add the beef, garlic and spices, mix and mince until somewhat cooked through and broken apart. Add the water, bring to a boil, cover and reduce to simmer 20 minutes.
For the Cauliflower Hummus:
👉🏼2 cup cauliflower rice, steamed and squeezed of moisture
👉🏼2 tablespoons tahini 👉🏼Juice of 1 lemon
👉🏼1 clove garlic, crushed
👉🏼1/2 teaspoon cumin
👉🏼Salt and black pepper
Blend it all in a food processor until a smooth paste is achieved.
Spread the cauliflower hummus onto a plate, top with the beef and enjoy 💋 #goddessapproved
