Goat Milk vs cow milk: 🐐vs. 🐄
Inspired by @yourchirofriend ! Contrary to unpopular belief (only Lianna Hunt), that drinking goat milk, will turn you into a baby goat— it in fact, will not! Goat milk, cheese and other dairy products are on the rise in popularity and I think it’s safe to say, they are staying around for quite a bit of time. From goat milk in infant formula to our beloved GOAT CHEESE (🤤), here’s what you need to know about goat dairy products and why people can’t get enough of it!!
1️⃣Easier to digest, the fat globules in goat milk are smaller. Only about 2 percent of goat’s milk is curd compared to about 10 percent in cow milk (draxe.com)
2️⃣Fewer Allergens and Less Inflammatory. Goat milk is also lower in lactose than cow milk. 🐄Cow milk can contain up to 20 different allergens; One of the most common allergies in children under the of age of 3 in the United States is a dairy allergy!
3️⃣ Simply put, cow milk has A1 protein casein, goat milk has A2 casein— which is more similar to human breast milk than any other milk product. Which is why it is a better alternative for adults and also infant formula!
4️⃣ Biased opinion, not fact: goat milk is creamy and tangy, and makes a great addition to any (but not limited too) salad, dip, burger, pizza or sandwich. 🥗🍕🥪🍔 📝Comment below your favorite goat dairy recipe👇🏼
