I seriously had one of the best leg workouts yesterday that I’ve had in a looooong time. I really enjoy mixing up my workouts and find that’s when I see the most results/end up supperrr sore. Also, bands are my new best friend. You should seriously get yourself a pair if you don’t already have them and you’re looking to work on isolating the 🍑 muscles. I promise you won’t regret this decision 👏🏻👏🏻
Okay, so for those of you who ask me what my leg/glute workouts are, here’s a small sneak peek (wish I could upload all of my workout, but that would be a super long video)....
1️⃣ Resistance Band Squats w/Side Leg Raise x10 (on EACH leg)
2️⃣ Wide Stance Leg Press x10
3️⃣ One-Legged Weighted Box Raises x12 ***this was the first time I had ever attempted these. These bad boys are HARD and require a lot of focus and balance.
4️⃣Good Mornings x10
Workouts Not Featured in Video:
1️⃣Hip Thrusts x12 (225lbs)
2️⃣ Sled (Bear Crawl & Pull)
3️⃣ More Resistant Bands👏🏻👏🏻 Also, it’s so so important that if you’re looking to gain muscle that you eat a nutritious meal full of protein after finishing a hardcore workout. If you don’t feed da muscles, they won’t grow. 🚫💪🏻 The number of sets I do for each exercise varies anywhere from 3-5 sets. Usually with resistant bands I do 5 sets. The weight for each weighted exercise varies too, especially since a lot of these are new to me and I’m working on maintaining proper form before going up in weight.
