⚠️ KILLER LEG DAY WORKOUT ⚠️
y’all voted for video slides for this leg session so here it is! 🍑 I was seriously sore for days after this so be prepared to struggle sitting on the toilet later 🤷🏻‍♀️

🔥 Step ups(5 sets of 15 ea)- notice my positioning on this exercise, I’m leaning my upper body forward a bit to utilize more of my glute muscle and I also keep the leg that is not on the stool straight at all times so make sure NOT to bend that knee to assist you on the way up (no cheating 😉)
🔥 Super set banded kick backs (20 ea)- this is a light exercise to do right after the step ups w/ out rest
🔥Wide stance squats (4 sets of 12)-
Notice my feet movement on these, toes pointed out-squat then I change my feet placement toes facing forward-squat
🔥Super set banded lateral squat steps + two squats at each end (about 12-20 squat steps)- done right after squats!
🔥Elevated Lunges (5 sets of 12 ea)- I used two 25lb plates to elevated my foot, placed it way out in front of me and I’m pushing off with my heel to utilize my hamstring/glute muscle.
(No super set bc this one kills)

🔥The thrust is a must! 😅This exercise is so exhausting, I feel like I’m dying every time I do hip thrusts, but they are very effective if you are trying to grow your glutes. The glutes are working hardest at full extension. This is why squats are not the best booty exercise, contrary to popular belief. Perform 10-15 1 & 1/2 reps, immediately followed by 20 abductors as shown. 💀 Tag someone who needs to do this👇🏽 // 🎧 by @artmorera

A few tips...

✅Keep your gaze forward, tucking your chin, don’t look up! This prevents hyperextension of the lumbar spine.
✅Play around with foot position. You want your shins vertical, but you may want to experiment with different widths for your foot placement depending on your anatomy.
✅Add a mini band for extra tension.
✅I prefer resting my lower scapula on the bench instead of higher up on shoulders.

2️⃣ DB hip thrusts 4x12

3️⃣ Leg extensions 4x12

4️⃣ Goblet squats 4x12

5️⃣ Hip abduction AMRAP (not filmed)
