Dinner was simple today. I’m going out tonight for 🍸🍸🍸 so I kept it light! I ate half of the cheese shown. || I also had 2 dessert rye bread crackers (swipe next photo) these contained pb2, a little whipped cream, sugar free chocolate, maple syrup and 100% fruit jam ❤️ I also have an obsession with cholula and I put it on just about every savory meal, someone send help 😅 ~ drunchies likely coming at 2am 🙃

Core work 🙄 Because my abs are so weak- I default on my back to stabilize. So doing exercises either upright where I can focus on keeping my pelvis tucked (1st exercise) or floor exercises where I can stay curled in the movement (2nd exercise) works best for me.
In the first exercise I am squeezing my glutes and rotating through my abs. No rocking in your hips or arching back. Second- im squeezing my lower abs to crunch up. *trying* not to lead with my head.

Booty Days (Daze) are the best days, especially when they fall on a Friday. Today I focused on lower weight, higher reps, and the mind/muscle connection necessary to grow all parts of the glutes. 🍑🍑🍑 Give it a try and save for later!

1️⃣ Pause Squats (count to 3 at the bottom and really spread your glutes!): 4 x 10
2️⃣ Elevated Glute Bridge Series (perform as an “active rest” after the squats. 15 together, 15 second hold, 20 marches) x 4 sets
3️⃣ Overhead Front + Lateral Plate Lunges (try to sit back in those lateral lunges!) 4 x 5 each side
4️⃣ Glute/Hamstring Raises (GHRs, 10 with a plate behind the head, drop the plate and 10 more!) x 4 sets

How to perform this glute burning exercise ➡️ (1) Place your hands on the bench and bend to support yourself - be sure to keep your spine neutral (look down and don't arch your back!) 👌🏽 (2) Place the band above your knees and bend one leg. (3) Drive the sole of your bent leg to the sky, maintaining a 90 degree angle throughout the motion. (4) Perform 15 reps on each leg for 3 rounds! 🍑
LOOKING FOR MORE? 🔥 Try adding in a pulse at the top of the movement!

A bit staged😆 but wanted to show the plethora of props I have (many more not shown) We know variety helps to keep fitness interesting and challenging our bodies.
