Ever have one of those days where you set out to do something, get ready to do it...and then the “I really don’t feel like doing this” feeling sets in? Me arriving at the gym this evening was def one of those moments. As soon as I walked in, I felt it. The gym was packed, barely any space to workout, didn’t have the cardio machine I wanted to use, plus I’m coming off of being sick all last week, I’ve been eating horribly due to sickness, the takeout ordering of my co-workers and the holiday food and I was just over it.
But....I pushed through anyway. I was determined to put in the work because my goals are too important to give up on now. And let me tell you...it was WORTH IT. Holiday times are some of the hardest times to be living a healthy life but seeing yourself push through and deliver in spite of the season is everything. So from this point forward, I’m challenging myself to keep going, keep pushing, and keep striving to commit to my goal and stick to my plan no matter what. My life, my health, and my whole body wellness is too important to give up on now. It’s time to GET BACK TO IT!
