PLATE RACK: 10 yds, 6 in 4.79 (2nd string) Tricky, tricky. I thought I could smoke through this, but the more I raced the gun the worse things got. I slowed way down and really made sure to catch the red fiber optic front sight before each hit. Keeping a stock Glock (even as light in recoil as the 9mm is) flat is a war for me that I'm steadily winning. I'm gripping 100% with each hand and driving the gun forward. @oneshotindustries belt @safarilandgroup ALS
I got to put my MRKIII Reaper slide through through it's paces today at a local shoot. Cycled perfectly with my Octane 9HD. If you like to shoot suppressed, do yourself a favor and pickup a Crye Precision holster. This thing rocks!
REALITY CHECK DRILL 🇺🇸 JJ Racaza has a great saying that paper keeps you honest. Shooting steel is fun and the feedback is instant, but it can give shooters false confidence in their ability to hit accurately. Drill: At 7 yds, steel (IPSC A zone size) and an IPSC paper target side by side. One hit from the holster 3x on each as fast as you can, as slow as you have to. (My first hit on paper was close to being a delta or mike hit.) Push your speed on the steel, then let the paper be the brakes.
