Had enough of these pre-dawn shots from Huangshan Mountain in Anhui, China, shot in Winter yet ? Gluttons for punishment aren't you 😉
This spectacular mountain that not only has incredible granite spires and multiple peaks, a few of which can be seen here, but is covered by a unique species of pine tree - and they give you a wonderful sense of scale here. Look at the pine tree in the foreground - then pinch to zoom in and see more full size pines on the mountains 😱 Look small don't they - yet they are the same size !
Huangshan is also famous for it's Sea of Clouds (see more Huangshan photos in my gallery) and here that sea can be seen flowing around the peaks and flooding the valleys.
Taken with a Nikon D800e and the Tamron SP 70-200/2.8 at 70mm.
If you have a spare minute or two maybe check out my gallery for photography of China, Myanmar, Iceland, Nepal etc. Thanks ! Kevin
