I wanted to share just how important prioritising your health and managing your stress and work life balance is. .

Stress is pretty much an understatement of how I have been feeling. .
Yes I was going to gym, yes I was trying best I could but it was merely just going through motions and never reaching anywhere. .
I dropped my sessions two weeks ago.
Rested a bit more.
Last week I upped them again but now with a better and more work-life balance and I have actually lifted more this week than I've done in months. .
Today my upper body needed a spotter again whoop whoop!
I am very up front about sharing good and bad sides of lifestyle and sadly I didnt acknowledge the warning signs or was too stressed to see that I probably hit "burn out"a few months back
Lesson here is, training should be progressive and continuously.
If not you are standing still and you aren't getting results. .
Sure exercise to maintain health but we'd be lying of we said we didn't want to continuously improve it right? .
Have a look are you needing to make changes in your lifestyle? .
Do you need more recovery at the moment? .
Step back and assess. .
Im away for a much needed shower as clearly I look like I've been dragged through a hedge... but I love it! Strong and fit Lisa will be back once again. .
