Sorry for the rant but, it really aggravates me when i get asked why i go to the gym because im already skinny. I had a little look through my photos, the first being top left and last being bottom right. Top left was march 2016, and the start of my gym sessions, im a small weed, i may be slightly toned, but it was covered by a layer of tummy, and i felt small. Bottom right was August 2017 (not tensing cos i was self conscious in the gym) but I look stronger, my build is entirely different! I have an ass! My shoulders have broadened. The improvements are harder to achieve when your no longer shedding fat. I constantly have an ongoing battle with people who worry that i have a disorder of some sort, but since when did it become a crime to be happy staying fit and strong. My arms are no longer tooth picks and my stomach is no longer squidgy. Most importantly im getting tonnes more confident in myself! This shows the difference working out makes even when your not losing weight, its so much harder to notice and this has really motivated me to keep going, because it is working 😊 Dont let people put you down guys! So I've been on a new gym regime, and taken it way back to the beginning- training with light weight for more reps. It's so amazing how well our bodies adapt to change; I've even started mixing my excercise sand added in a couple synergy sets. I HAVE DONE IT! And man does it feel incredible! Could I do a proper Burpee before this challenge? NO, could I do a press up? NO, could I do a pull up? NO, did I think I could do it... NO BUT I did because I set a goal, I found my motivation and I aimed high and I didn't want to let myself down! I have had bumps along the way, injuries, illness and lack of motivation but I listened to my body at times and picked myself up and powered through! I have seen an immense change in my upper body strength and strength in my mind and determination!
