As a few of you many know... I may have kinda, sorta switched states. Between the small stack of boxes, the rod tubes, and the slightest waves of bittersweet homesickness, I decided to get back to the one thing that equalizes me-- time on the water. Aside from the ice crystals on my kayak, slightly frostbit fingers, and crooked smile that just screams, "my face is frozen"; these little fire-engines fueled my passion for doing what I love.
So to be honest with you, I’ve been feeling “in a rut” (coincidentally during the actual rut 🦌). But today—coaching was the difference. When I question my ability to motivate myself and others, my TEAM of coaches brings me back. Sure, the programs help me build muscle and my VO2 Max 😉 and the shakes are the missing link in my nutrition, but what keeps me here for the long run?
