They don’t call it London Dry for nothing… 😏
Ginthusiasts, take note, because we’ve rounded up four of the city’s cleverest and most well-known crafters who are bringing gin distilling back to its London roots! 👌
1️⃣ Sipsmith (@sipsmith) - This Chiswick-based micro distillery was the first copper pot distillery to open in London for nearly two hundred years. Their traditional London Dry is smooth and aromatic, made with 10 classic botanicals that would not have been surprising to an 18th-century distiller 👌
2️⃣ Beefeater (@beefeatergin) - Beefeater London Dry Gin was first made in 1820 by founder James Burroughs and is still, to this day, made to his same recipe. Handcrafted at the Beefeater Distillery in Kennington (where they also have their very own gin museum! 😱), it is spiced and fruity, and goes great in a martini 🍸 Pictured, their latest pink gin...which is delicious!
3️⃣ Kew Organic (@keworganicgin) - A fine London gin if ever there was one! Distilled in Battersea by the London Distillery Company in partnership with the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew (@kewgardens), this hand-bottled craft gin is deliciously crisp and made with organic botanicals, many of which are hand-picked from the gardens themselves! 🍃
4️⃣ Hayman’s (@haymansgin) - This was the winner of the World Gin Awards’ ‘Best British London Dry Gin 2018’ 🏆 Produced to a 150-year-old family recipe, it’s fresh and bright, with a perfect balance of crisp juniper and fresh citrus notes 🍊
