While I typically keep our content fishing related, I can't let this go unspoken---------A month ago I had never even heard of @adam.greentree and for one strange reason or another I came across his work through a @joerogan podcast. After looking him up just saw he was another 'average hunter' who had a nack for bow hunting. The next thing I know he is flying to the US to hunt elk out west and embarks on one of the most incredible journeys I've laid eyes on. Over the next 12-15 days I can't remember exactly this dude instaStoried his whole experience from start to finish. The good, the bad, the highs, the lows, climbing rocks, falling off rocks, drinking from streams, eating snow, smelling bull piss in the snow, chasing a pissed off Grizzly with his pistol just to name a few.....Words do his journey nor Him as a man any justice. Truly an inspiration to anyone who has ever wanted to live life with no regrets, throw caution at the wind, and most importantly look challenges dead in the face while running right at'm.
There will never be a film out there that will compare to the real, raw, & savage story that this cat captured.
I'm stoked he finally harvested a mature bull elk, but in the same breath, pissed that his hunt is over.
I could ramble on for hours about this but I instead I'll tip my cap to you @adam.greentree and attempt to apply an ounce of the savage mentality you inspired us all with to our everyday lives.
Cheers Brother & safe travels back to your family in Australia.
